# v2.14.0 - Fleet Connection Reference Field

> New fleet_ref field added to fleet connection events

## Fleet Connection Reference Field

This release adds a new `fleet_ref` field to fleet connection event schemas, giving you direct access to the fleet reference identifier within connection event payloads.

  **Backward-Compatible Addition:** This is a non-breaking change. Existing integrations continue to work without modification.

### Schema Changes

    The `fleet_ref` field has been added to the `BaseFleetConnectionEvent` schema and is now included in all fleet connection event payloads, including `FleetConnectionCreated`.

    **New field:**

    * `fleet_ref` — The reference identifier for the fleet associated with the connection event.

    **Affected events:**

    * `fleet_connection.created` — The `data` array items now include `fleet_ref`.

    **Example payload (fleet\_connection.created):**
