# v2.18.0 - Usage Metrics API

> New organization usage and monthly metrics endpoints

## Usage Metrics API

This release introduces the new **Usage** category to the Organizations API, adding endpoints that allow partners to query their organization's usage data and monthly metrics breakdowns.

### New endpoints

    Two new endpoints are available under the `Usage` tag in the Organizations API:

    **`GET /v2/orgs/usage`**
    Retrieve aggregated usage data for your organization.

    GET https://api.catenatelematics.com/v2/orgs/usage
    ```

    **`GET /v2/orgs/usage/monthly-metrics`**
    Retrieve a paginated list of monthly usage metrics broken down by partner, backed by the new `PartnerMonthlyUsageRead` schema.

    ```bash theme={null}
    GET https://api.catenatelematics.com/v2/orgs/usage/monthly-metrics
    ```

    The response uses cursor-based pagination via the `_CursorPage_PartnerMonthlyUsageRead_` envelope, consistent with other paginated endpoints in the Organizations API.

### New response schemas

| Schema | Description |
| - | - |
| `PartnerMonthlyUsageMetric` | Individual metric record for a partner in a given month. |
| `PartnerMonthlyUsageRead` | Full monthly usage object returned by the metrics endpoint. |
| `_CursorPage_PartnerMonthlyUsageRead_` | Cursor-paginated wrapper for monthly usage results. |
