# v2.49.0 - Vehicle License Plate Number

> New license_plate_number field added to vehicle schemas and webhook event payloads

## Vehicle license plate number

This release adds the `license_plate_number` field to the `BaseVehicle` schema and propagates it to the `VehicleAdded` and `VehicleModified` webhook event payloads.

  **Backward-compatible addition:** This release introduces no breaking changes. Existing integrations continue to work without modification.

### New fields

    The `license_plate_number` field has been added to the `BaseVehicle` schema and is now present in the `data` array items of both `VehicleAdded` and `VehicleModified` webhook event payloads.

    **Updated response schema:**

    ```json theme={null}
    {
      "license_plate_number": "ABC-1234"
    }
    ```

    This field is optional and will be `null` when no license plate number is available for the vehicle.
