# v2.95.0 - Partner Reference on Message Read Endpoints

> New partner_ref field added to response schemas for the group-messages and messages Telematics API endpoints

## Partner reference on message read endpoints

A new `partner_ref` field has been added to the response item schemas of the `GET /v2/telematics/group-messages` and `GET /v2/telematics/messages` endpoints. This field surfaces the partner-side reference identifier that was previously only available on write operations, making it straightforward to correlate Catena message records with objects in your own system when reading data back.

The change is additive and backward-compatible — existing requests continue to behave exactly as before.

  **Backward-compatible addition:** The new `partner_ref` field is purely additive. No existing integrations are affected.

| `partner_ref` | string | A partner-side reference identifier for the message. May be `null` if no reference has been set. |
